If one takes Catholicism seriously, it’s a lot tougher than you might think. Any devout Catholic has a rather rigorous and extraordinary path of religiosity. Daily Masses, rosaries, reading the Divine Office, studying the Bible, penance, etc. It can be an arduous journey, no different from the rigors of other faiths.Well, what about everybody else? Since your ancestors didn’t sign up for the ‘Covenant’, you get off lightly. No reason you have less hope for the ‘World to Come’ than Jews, you don’t even have indulge in the OCD as religion () as we do (it helps to think of it as constantly bumping into God).
