“Those who troubled his people – Just Judge
he destroyed by fire”
“By his hand redemption was – Redeemer
happily achieved”
“He gathered together those – Giver of Life
who were perishing”

1.Read scrolls 3:48 — Lit. of Word (Mass/LstSup)
2.Offered “first fruits” — Lit.Euch
Defeated his enemies the next day4:14. – Defeated Enemy on cross.
Before Battle Judas
recalls Exodus Victory 4:9-- Passover/Eucharist
After Battle, Defeat of Enemy – Church established after
The jews still had to wait until rest-- Christ death/Res. but still
of enemy was gone before they – waiting for eternal kingdom
reaped the spoils of war.4:16-18
They plunder camp of enemy – ‘Treasure’ in Heaven
Rewarded with treasures.
