I found this definition of Judas Priest online, "interjection •general exclamation, to avoid “using Jesus’ name in vain.” So it would not be blasphemy to use the term Judas Priest?

From what I’ve gathered in quickly researching the definition online, it appears to have originally been an alternative to using the Lord’s name in vain. For example: one hits their finger with a hammer and yells “Judas Priest!” It’s not something I’ve ever said or will be likely to say.

Probably not, but it would be better still to avoid using interjections of a religious nature, if possible.

And yes, I know how tempting the drive to cuss can be! 🤷

Unless, of course, the term refers to the former musical group.

ICXC NIKA.
