The OP is right - because the Saints are not affected by what is done to representations of them; for these are made of wood, stone, plastic, cardboard & so on. Logically, the Saints would have to be damaged when holy pictures were destroyed or faded away, ***if *** they were affected by what happens to representations of them.So why the word “other” ?
