Kline had no jurisdiction to file charges in this case under Kansas law. The Judge ruled as the law required. No “arrogance” was involved.

Perhaps you don’t recognize abortion as a violation of human rights.

I’ m not defending abortion. I’m simply pointing out facts in this matter. Had Kline ever been a prosecutor, or even practiced law on a regular basis (he kept letting his law license lapse while he was in the Legislature), he would have known he had no jurisdiction.
Perhaps you don’t realize that peoples’ personal opinions regarding abortion don’t overrule the law. But don’t worry - Phill was just picked by the Republican party to replace Paul Morrison (the man who beat him in the election for AG) to serve the next two years as Johnson County DA, even though less than 35% of the people in Joinson County voted for Phill in the AG race. Now, Kline will have jurisdiction to pursue cases against Planned Parenthood’s abortion clinic in Kansas City.

No you are just ignoring the facts. Have you ever considered that the judicial actions are motivated more by politics than they are by actual justice?

Actually he does, the Attorney General is one of those permitted to file charges.

The judge ignored the law.

His ruling needs to be appealed or it sets a precedent setting D.A.'s above the law.
