At the request of hundreds of pro-lifers, the store cancelled an event in which Planned Parenthood would pass out information in the lot June 27.
American Life League sent out a press release June 26 to pro-lifers across the country informing them of this latest Planned Parenthood encroachment into neighborhood retailers.

This reminds me of the barrels of AOL cd’s that they would leave at the doors for people to pick up.

They can’t get any customers, so they try to give the wares away for free.

I used the AOL cd’s for Christmas tree ornaments.
Too bad the PP literature has no such purpose.

Now there is no reason for anyone to pick it up.

But after threats of a protest by a grass-roots Catholic anti-abortion organization, the American Life League, Wal-Mart requested Thursday that the Planned Parenthood-affiliated council not distribute information at the store.

I assume that Howard Amon Park is a public park so how did Planned Parenthood get a permit so fast or did they even have a permit or notify the police?

It often takes a month to contact police and/or arrange for a permit if necessary.
 
Oh this is lovely. PP wants to hand out information about free HIV testing and and the supposed “pro-life” groups have a hissy about it. That’s a really pro-life stance to take, blocking people from getting information about HIV testing. :rolleyes:
 
Pong, if the Gestapo were handing out free HIV tests I would assume they would also be protested. There is not much difference here.

People are not opposed to the free HIV testing but the ghoulish organization behind it and their diabolical agenda.

Okay, let’s see: the Gestapo was a governmental police force in Nazi Germany while Planned Parenthood is a health service in the United States. Seems there really is a difference.

People certainly succeeded in getting the HIV information stopped. It would seem that the same people who will stop at nothing to see a woman’s right to choose taken away on the basis of being “pro-life” have a lot less value for human life than they say, if they would stop an organazation from providing information about a deadly disease.
 
The information they pass out–trying to prevent HIV by using condoms-- is bad information. Relying on Condoms spreads AIDS and has led to the death of millions. It is well documented that condoms fail, promoting something that fails to prevent a deadly disease is dishonest, irresponsible, and deadly!

This organization does nothing that helps people. Anyone that follows their advice or uses their services will regret it! (Notice I didn’t say live to regret it)
