Junior at my university died this morning

Our Dean just informed all of us that a junior at my university was taken the hospital this morning by her friends and died there. So far, there is no cause of death. I never knew her since we are part of different schools within the university, but, it is always said to see a young life full of potential gone.

Please pray for the repose of her soul and for her family and loved ones. I will update when the cause of death is known. If it is something that could have been prevented by the school or by changing the culture on campus, I will ask you all to pray that the appropriate action will be taken and changes made. We had at least one student death last year that could have been easily prevented.

Okay, so the autopsy was performed and they did not find anything. She was taken to the hospital on Saturday after she told her friends she was not feeling well and died less than 23 hours later. Police are looking into what she did the previous day. So far, we have no reason to believe there was foul play. Please keep posting prayers to keep this thread alive at least until we have the toxicology reports. It could be another month.

This is the strangest student death during my time here. Poor girl.

I’m just posting to keep this thread alive. It could be a while still before the cause of death is determined. They say they suspect no foul play, but, when it takes this long to determine a cause of death, you can’t help but wonder if there was foul play or some toxin in the environment. Keep praying for her.
