On another, thankfully closed, thread,
someone stated (with regard to the church believing homosexual attraction
is detrimental to the priesthood)
that Sexuality has nothing to do with Job Competence.
Just a clarification here:
The PRIESTHOOD of Christ, the ordained ministerial priesthood,
is NOT a mere “JOB” by any stretch of the imagination.
To refer to being a priest as having a “job” is to show a very
gravely deficient understanding of what a Catholic Priest IS.
He is NOT an “employee.”
I did not mean to reopen the entire topic of the thread,
and I warmly invite any moderator to close this one if he or she likes.
I just had to clarify that that being a priest is NOT “having a job.”
