Ok so I did something that has a bad intent attached to it but after I thought about it some more and I undid what I formerly had the intent to do. I’m not sure what to think of this. Can anyone help?
Here is the teaching from the Catechism. Note that sin has to do with the will, that is, committing to do the sin, after reflection, even if it is only decision to do it that was made:Ok so I did something that has a bad intent attached to it but after I thought about it some more and I undid what I formerly had the intent to do. 1857 For a sin to be mortal , three conditions must together be met: “Mortal sin is sin whose object is grave matter and which is also committed with full knowledge and deliberate consent.”
