This seems such a small thing compared to the trials many others are going through on these boards, but I still am asking for prayer. I have a sore on my gums, and it’s hard to eat. Please pray that it heals quickly.

Thank you and God bless.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

God Bless
In Jesus through Mary

Rinse with warm salt water several times a day. (DO NOT SWALLOW).
Father, please hear our prayer!
Heal the mouth and gums of
Baptista as we pray Lord.
Remove the pain so that
food and nourishment are
not denied. These
pains are well known to me
after years of teeth and gum
problems, I offer my suffering
today for Baptista.
AMEN

There is a local construction company called “Father & Son” and their ad jingle say, “No job too big, no job too small, we’re father and son, we do it all”. So if you think of this in terms of God, the Father and God, the Son…well, it just makes perfect sense! No prayer petition is too big and no prayer petition is too small! 🙂
You can count on my prayers!

Beautiful sentiments and theology…

You can count on my prayers too…no request too big and none too small …I hope you sore gum will heal soon and a gargle in salt water regularly is good advice too…

**I encourage you to say a chaplet to God’s Mercy!
Let’s pray - especially at 3 p.m.(the Hour of Jesus’s Death)!
Special gift of Grace!
Trust in God’s Mercy. Jesus will help you!
Jesus will be your consolation!

CHAPLET TO GOD’S MERCY**

Using normal rosary beads,begin with:

The Lord’s Prayer : Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed
be Thy name…… Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee…….
the Apostles Creed :I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven …

On the five large beads :

Eternal Father, I offer You the Body and Blood,Soul and
Divinity of Your dearly beloved Son,Our Lord Jesus Christ,
in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

On the ten small beads :
V. For the sake of His sorrowful Passion,
R. Have mercy on us and on the whole world.

At the end of the Divine Mercy Chaplet say three times:

Holy God, Holy Mighty One Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy
Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

Invocation: O Blood and Water that gushed forth from
the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of mercy for us,
I trust in You (3 times)

Sign of the Cross :in the name of the Father,
and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Amen.

God Bless You!

I absolutely love the above! Thank you for this sentiment. and thank you all. Pyropam, I especially want to thank you for offering your suffering for me. That means alot.

I have been doing the salt water bit. And I have Biotene mouthwash, which is a special mouthwash for people with dry mouth or other problems with their gums.

It’s still sore, but I’ve managed to eat a bit more today. I know prayer works miracles. Thank you all again and God bless! :grouphug:

My sore gums were getting better, but for some reason, it’s worse again. Well…probably because the other day I ate a piece of toast. Not very smart, but because it was feeling better… 😊

Please say another prayer, and this time I’m going to be very, very careful until it’s healed properly.

Praying for everyone here, even if I don’t post on your thread. :byzsoc:

Keeping you in prayer Baptista…hoping that healing will be swift…
