Same type of trigger this morning for a habitual sin, following the same pattern as always. Realized today that the sin usually happens a day or two after the trigger. No need to reply. Just a quick verbal or mental “Amen” to my prayer for God to grant me the gift of Fortitude is all I need.
 
Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

of weakness and unrest.

Teach her searching heart
to know that God’s Love
for her is unchanging and
unchangeable, and, that
true human love can only
begin and grow by touching
His Love.

Let your gentle Peace -
which this world cannot give
  • be always with her.
    And, help her to bring this
    same Peace into the lives
    of others.
Our Lady of Mental Peace,
  • Pray for us!

Lord Jesus Christ, I believe in You as my God and my Saviour. Make me more faithful to Your Gospel and commandments. By sharing in the Eucharist, may I come to live more fully in the life You have given me. Keep Your Love alive within my heart and soul so that I may become worthy of You. Teach me to value and be thankful for all of Your Gifts. Help us to strive for eternal life

SUBMIT your temptation triggers
to the Lordship of Jesus Christ,
and recognize His presence WITH
you in facing them!!

Lord Jesus, sending this prayer for Jerome, give him strength, the knowledge of how to combat this assault by the evil one and his continued and complete faith and reliance on You, our merciful Savior. Amen.
