I don’t normally ask people to pray for me personally but I do need a little help and I’m finding it hard to pray on my own right now.

Couple of things going on (otherwise I wouldn’t be so overwhelmed).

Please pray for my sister’s father-in-law, who is dying. I just hope he doesn’t have to suffer too much before the Lord takes him home.

Please pray for me. My bank account was hacked into this week and money was stolen (not so much that I’m going to be without food or shelter but enough that I’m a little upset)… the same day I managed to sprain the fingers in my right hand. In my line of work I do a lot of typing and writing so it’s going to be a very painful week. I just need a little encouragement so I don’t succumb to despair right now, that’s all.

Wow. Shortly after the last comment I received news that my money is being returned.

Somebody has super powered prayers ;).

Praying for your sister’s FIL that he finds comfort and strength in the Lord and keeps strong in faith, hope and love until the Lord comes to take him home. May your fingers heal quickly so you can do your job without much pain. In the meantime may you offer up your suffering to the Lord so your suffering will be redemptive and not useless. May you never despair but may you place all your confidence in God’s merciful love and be totally abandoned to it. Amen.

Praise God you got your money back!

That’s a lot on your shoulders right now
as you are assaulted by several areas of attack;
the overwhelming emotions of compassion for your family fatal illness;
by the shock and insecurity of being victim of someone’s callous theft against you;
by the actual loss of hard-earned money;
by physical pain
and anxiety about your function at work.

Be gentle and kind to yourself, as we humans do naturally plummet with discouragement with so much strain.

Our good God please help Nicky through this,
and have mercy on this loved dying man.( Understand. My Dad died in late June. We hoped he wouldn’t suffer too long. It was a hard few months for the lovely man got to go Home earlier than expected, so with grief, joy for his escape)
Protect our Nicky from any more harm,
and please assist the poor hand to recover quickly

Pa passed away this morning. He died peacefully. Thank you for your prayers!
