Speaking of the Ark.

The Bible says it covered the whole earth. Now assuming Mt. Everest 6000 years ago was approximately 6 miles high, that would be six miles of rain in 40 days. That converts to 380,160 inches of rain in 40 days.

Now 40 days consists of 57,600 minutes. So that comes to 6.6 inches per minute. A kind of heavy rainstorm methinks.

Hey, I like these topics…like are there space aliens…or will we see my dead puppy in heaven. Sometimes I think the kids ask the best theological questions.
Well, I remember having a conversation once with someone about animals in heaven and they showed me some scripture. I read it and immediately thought, wow! Animals will be in heaven! But I’ve since lost it. I used the basic premise that Elijah was taken to heaven in a chariot pulled by horses so there must be horses in heaven. If there are horses than surely others are too.

Enough Clash of the Titans, let’s move on to another sci-fi/fantasy/horror geaks-only film…take your pick…Tron? LOL

ARE YOU SO STUPID?!?!

and the rest of the nations whom the great and noble Osnapper took captive and settled in the cities of Samaria and the remainder beyond the River—and so forth. [Ezra 4:10]

I think you can clearly see that any disagreement with me is a disagreement with God, so why don’t you just agree with me now!

Oh, never mind him. I never gave him permission to speak for me anyway.

I’d like to talk about snakes.

Let’s start with the Taipan.
Its venom is 200-400 times more toxic than most rattlesnakes and 50 times as toxic as a cobra.

Now if this fellow had been in the Garden of Eden, things might have turned out very differently…

Now how much more venomous is that to the platypus?

Oh, by my calculations the Taipan is more venemousthan the Platypus by a factor of 600 miles. The Taipan poison is indiscrete. Once bitten, it is all over before you can spell Platypus. The seemingly cuddly little Platypus, though, is mercilessly cruel. An injection of poison doesn’t kill you, but just makes you wish you were dead. I suppose that makes the Taipan a merciful creature.
Did you know, that worldwide, around 40,000 people die each year from snakebite? Yet not a single death can be attributed to that merciless creature, the Platypus.

I’d like to discuss the importance of fiber in one’s diet, or Hungarian Cabinet-Making, The Road Warrior, the Stratocaster vs. Les Paul debate, pluot tree farming or favorite Saturday Night Live skits. I’d also like to analyze why in God’s name men find Angela Lansbury attractive and ask her out in almost every Murder She Wrote episode.

Snakes are cuter.

This is exactly why I favor life in prison over the death penalty. The person serving life in prison gets to think about the pain. The venom of the platypus makes you want to die… but you won’t… for a very long time.

Cruel, cruel, platypus!

“How long have you been a robber?”
“four foot one”
“Good God! Four foot one!? That uh that the that is a long time…four foot one…and how about you…do you like robbing?”
“Well it helps pay the rent, sir.”
“ah ha ha ha ha jolly good, jolly good!”
