Hey, y’all. If anyone has time, I could really use some prayers. My spiritual life is suffering and just not what it used to be. It’s not a dark night of the soul like St. John of the Cross would say—more of a me feeling indifferent towards the God I used to love so much. It pains me that I’m getting so selfish and no longer pray or love God like before but am instead wrapped up in myself, outward things, etc.

In fact, starting a prayer request thread just for myself is probably pretty selfish too. :rolleyes: But things are getting so bad, I know I’ll lose my faith if I don’t ask someone else to pray too.

Please dont give up! and remember that a bad with Jesus is better then a good day without Him 👍

I am going through so many trails right now that
I would be lost without the feeling of God.

Evening Prayer to the Holy Spirit

O Holy Spirit,
most merciful Comforter:
You proceed from the Father
in a manner beyond our understanding.
Come, I beseech You,
and take up your abode in my heart.

I have often struggled with the same - God bless you for reaching out. It shows that you know what you would lose were you to walk away from Our Lord.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
