Dear Rossco: I will remember you and your family in my prayers! Sept. 2011, Dr’s found a mass on my kidney…it was cancerous and they removed the kidney! So far no traces have been found, however, that might only be temporary. Keep your mind and heart on Jesus. We don’t know what lies ahead, but He will be beside us. Our lives are in God’s hands. Trust Him!

I know this is meant for Rossco. However, I wanted to sincerely thank you for sharing this. Yes, we should always – **always ** keep our minds and our hearts focused on Him no matter what. I will keep you in my Prayers as well Silver Thread

Loving Father,
we give you all praise and glory
for your mercy and love.
We thank you for granting Rossco a safe recovery,
and we ask you to continue to protect him.

O great St. Peregrine, thou hast been called "The Mighty," "The Wonder-Worker" because of the numerous miracles which thou hast obtained from God for those who have had recourse to thee, thou who for so many years didst bear in thine own flesh this cancerous disease that destroys the very fiber of our being, and who had recourse to the Source of all grace when the power of man could do no more; thou who wast favored with the vision of Jesus coming down from His Cross to heal thy affliction, ask of God and Our Lady, the cure of these sick persons whom we entrust to thee. Aided in this way by thy powerful intercession, we shall sing to God, now and for all eternity, a song of gratitude for His great goodness and mercy. Amen.

God of healing mercy, in Jesus your Son you stretch out your hand in compassion, restoring the sinner, healing the sick, and lifting up those bowed down. Embrace us now in your loving care, particularly those afflicted with cancer (Rossco), for whom this intention is offered. 

May the Spirit of Jesus bring us all health in soul and body, that with joy and thanksgiving we may praise you for your goodness, through the same Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
