:o I found this posting amusing. Why? My mother was catholic, wel, she sent us to mass once a week, my dad was baptist, but "agreed " to “raise” us catholic so mom could be married in the church. religon was never discussed in our house, excpt did we bring home a bulliton so they knew we didnt skip mass, LOL. My grandmother was baptist, and she talked to us a lot about God, and the bible, and why christians are christans, regardless of the denomonations. I never knew what the catholics beieved and why they believed it. At least baptist and some other denomanations teach during their semons.
As if Catholics don’t? I love Catholic homilies, because they deal with a lot more Scripture and a lot less speculation and less individual interpretation, as with a Protestant pastor. Also, it seems like 90% of the service at Protestants meetinghouses is sermonizing, which… gets old sometimes. 🤷

By the way, Protestants are Christians, but the Catholic Church is the original Christian Church (or arguably, the Orthodox Church) and is 2,000 years old. It’s also the Church that Christ promised that “the gates of Hell will not prevail against it.” 👍

I’m converting to the Catholic Church soon (Or the Orthodox-- I’m figuring that out now). :o

Is it ok though to ban people on this forum who do not agree with all of the churches teachings?Anyone can be reported here if they are not in full agreement with what is said.I notice catholics can say whatever they want against protestants and remain on this website.
