I thought the big debate would be over the lack of diplomatic immunity. This was an area
of thought for me, but I recall God saying in the OT that there must be one law “for and the alien.”

Other topics seem to be of bigger concern, though.
Diplomatic immunity does not create a different law for aliens, but only for specific persons who represent sovereign nations.

I quite enjoyed reading your list of laws, bsroufek!

I have a question with regard to this one:

**4) Violence and torture are unlawful. The government may use force for incarceration or warfare or control of prisoners, but torture is always unlawful. **

Why is it OK for some people to commit violence, but not OK for others?

It’s OK for the government to use necessary force but not for the people, generally. If not, the rapist would rape every day without anyone to stop him.

If your question is, “Why can’t the people use force,” well I suppose they can, but they have to follow the Moral Law; otherwise, they can be punished for unlawful behavior.
