Damn I hate imaginations and daydreams. This year I have lost a few friends and career options. No one died but I had major falling outs with people that are irreparable at least for now. Found put some guys I was interested in are completely incompatible with me. It is funny how you imagine things and all my daydreams about my love interests never occurred. Friendships I thought would last a lifetime never happened. Just a life observation

I think John Lennon was right when he said, “Life is what happens while you are busy making other plans.”

At least that’s how my life seems to go. If we didn’t have faith it would be really disheartening to know how little we can control.

Hope things take a good turn for you.👍

My condolences Chica.

The wonder that is human life does very often have its sewn-in penances.

Obviously I did play a part in all these happenings but it does not make them any less sad.

Try to learn to stay focused in the present moment, which is all that exists.

The ego dwells on the past and plans for the future, so daydreaming is often the unsatisfied ego seeking ways to be satisfied.

Being in the present, weakens the ego, and its the only place God dwells, because for God there is no time, only now.

True. I become upset that I did not understand what someone meant at the time or that I overreacted or misunderstood. Now I know the truth when I cannot fix the situation or now I understand why someone said what they said.

I think daydreams allow you to imagine how you wish things were or how you wish they could be. I used to think they were fine. Now I am older, daydreams make me sad. I know THEY WILL NEVER HAPPEN. Fate does not always bring people together. I think effort does.

Belief in fate to bring people together generates nothing but disappointment. IMNAAHO

But its the ego wishing how things could have been, or what they could be.

The feed the false image we have of ourselves and how we seek to impress others.

The ego is weak in the present moment, because there’s nothing to dwell on, other than the reality of the moment.

Its where God is.

"Be not afeard. The isle is full of noises,

Sounds, and sweet airs, that give delight, and hurt not.

Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments

Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices,

That if I then had waked after long sleep

Will make me sleep again; and then in dreaming

The clouds methought would open and show riches

Ready to drop upon me, that when I waked

I cried to dream again."

I, too, get wrapped up in my daydreams, and night dreams. No option for me to put real life effort into the ones that really haunt me, so I shall spend my days praying for the grace to heal.

Feels like Hell on Earth, in moments, my heart stops and I cannot breathe.

I pray you find peace.
If you have a chance to take action, do so.
Over 6 years I have spent grieving the living, and it is far worse than any death I have had to process.
