Just so many intentions

  1. Recently, I feel I am always in pain- physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Yes, I am getting help for my various concerns in these areas and doing my best to still rejoice in the Lord. All I ask now is prayer that I be able to persevere. I pray as well for those who are feeling the same (I especially think of prayer warriors- it surely must be draining on their part to be attacked in various areas of their lives).
  2. I pray for my friends who have led me to a deeper knowledge of Catholic spirituality. I also pray for my detractors as I strove to grow in holiness.
  3. I pray for all those who feel wounded in various areas of their lives. May we all find healing someday.
  4. I pray for all those striving to grow in holiness and who are experiencing all sorts of difficulties. I can relate to that. May we be able to work out our salvation in our fear and trembling.

If you examine the Lord’s prayer, the pronouns are plural, because we are constantly praying for each other. It is considered the perfect prayer.

The LORD knows all our needs. Benedict XVI wrote in Jesus of Nazareth that we have a right and a duty to pray for our needs.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal liturgy96. You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into liturgy96’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen
