An update… The Annapolis police department just called and told me that they have a good picture of her from the CVS camera (I forgot to ask if they have the incident on tape). So, I"m that they find her soon so that I can press charges. It will be well worth the 12 hour drive.

This is the first time I’m reading this thread and I’m so shocked! I have a 2 1/2 year old and I can only imagine how I’d feel if someone maliciously hurt him Oh, I am so glad to hear that they found a good picture of her! I will pray that you can make that 12 hour drive and press charges! And I will pray that she gets the maximum penalty possible for such a crime! (And of course I will also pray for her conversion and to be able to meet her and get to know her in Heaven one day )

I just read through this today, and read it to my DH, and both of us would be LIVID if someone did this to our children. He said “Oh trust me, the police would have had her handed to them… she might not have to ability to walk, but they’d have her handed to them.” Things like this just make me so angry.

I’m really glad the police have a good picture of her and I pray they find her. Good luck with everything in this case.

We’re on vacation and were in CVS. My dd and I were looking at sunglasses and a lady walked in and pushed my 2 1/2 year old (she hit the sunglass display and landed on the floor with cuts on her face). I picked up my dd and said to the lady “excuse me”. She didn’t look, so I repeated myself and added “you pushed my daughter” She said “It was in my way” She didn’t acknowledge that my dd is a person. There were some heated words and she still insisted on calling my dd “it”. On the way out (after the manager asked her to leave) she said “if I had a mallot I would have hit her in the head”. Afterward the manager at CVS appologized and helped us clean up our daughter. Even though the lady left and we don’t know her name, we went to the police department and filed a report. I just wanted to let you all know about the lady with “issues” who hurt my dd intentionally.

Boy am i glad I didnt witness that i would have kicked the B*t%% upside her head so hard it would still be spinning on her neck…
I am not normally a violent person but when it comes to men hitting women or anyone hurting a child I lose it.then to hear this thing call a child an “it” grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I have heard that word before and I think that in this situation that it would have fit very well!! I am sorry that you had to go through this, I am afraid I would never be welcomed at CVS again! Something like this :banghead: comes to mind.

Thanks for the offer. My dad lives just south of Edgewater (the reason we were out there for a visit and for my sister’s high school graduation). If they find out who this woman is, I’m sure my dad and step-mom will not only be more than happy to have us stay with them, but will be more than happy to come to court (my dad’s a judge, my step-mom’s an attorney).

I’m so sorry this happened to you. I’m impressed that you were able to override your Mother Bear instinct enough not to physically attack the woman, as I would have wanted to do and I’m sure you did too.

Frankly, I feel terribly sorry for the woman. I wonder if she is mentally ill? Reflecting upon the Scripture when Jesus told the apostles to let the little children come to him and that to hinder the children would make it better to have been drowned in a lake makes me shudder at what that woman will face, if she makes it to Purgatory, for what she did.

I am so glad to hear this. Hopefully, you will indeed be able to press charges.This woman is dangerous! If she would do such a thing to a child out in public, what might she do when there is no one around to stop her??

how many people work for the automotive companies should we lable them because of all the car accidents that kill kids and adults every year how many work for stores that sell alcohol should we lable them as drunk driver makers that also kill children?

you know it does not matter the organization it stuill takes a certified Medical DR to perform an abortion should we then lable all Drs as abortionists? or maybe the whole medical profession?
because nurses are also there with them Drs assisting
they also write out scripts for day after pills.

I know it was a broad assumption that just might be wrong, but thank you gmarie, that’s exactly what I meant! pro choice people refer to unwanted children as “it”. And surprise, I recently checked in a book at my job at the library called, “A Child Called ‘It’”. I recommend it. Sad, but it illustrates the effect of calling somebody “it”. It makes it far easier to be abusive toward that “it” than that “baby” or “child”, as shown in this case.

May that woman be found, if only to educate her, if not bring her to justice.
