I’m weary of the crosses GOD seems to be insisting I bare. I’m weary that when ask him the questions with the only answers I care about there’s never an answer. I even consulted a priest and he couldn’t give me an answer. I weary that whatever I do or try the result is always the same. I’m just weary. Ok I’m done just had to say it somewhere. No this isn’t related to sex or abuse or depression or even just one thing really. 🤷:juggle:

I will certainly say a prayer for you. I understand what it is like to feel overwhelmed with everything going on in your life.

BTW, read your signature line.;)🙂

If it makes you feel a bit better, you’re not alone. It seems that I too have been experiencing similar things for quite some time too. It’s a struggle every day, but I have to keep reminding myself to take things one step, one day at a time and not worry about the crosses tomorrow will bring.

Hoping you can find peace in your life. Jesus wants that for you, as much as he seems far away right now. Don’t forget that your suffering has a purpose - after all, winter is only one season. The spring of your life may be just around the corner.

Praying that things get better. I’m sorry that life is difficult right now. Lay down your struggles on his cross. I know that I need to learn to do that too.

We bear crosses for the sake of saving the world. Be happy when God gives you a cross, your partaking in the love Jesus blessed our hearts with. We can carry crosses for a multitude of reasons,
  • For making reparation to God for our own personal sins or anothers
  • To grow in love of God
  • To take a burden off of a brother or sister, or a neighbor
  • Or for the sake of Charity, Out of Love for Jesus
Remember to pray the Divine Chaplet and Rosary daily.

Just so you know, don’t feel alone. I’m carrying a beautiful one right now, you can message me if you every need advice. If I do not know the answer, ALWAYS contact my teacher in heaven.

There was a man who went into the church to pray to the tabernacle and said “Jesus, my cross to bear is too heavy”. Jesus appeared to him and showed him an entire pile of crosses, and told him to pick a new one. The man went and found one that was obviously lighter, and picked it up, but it was too light. He tried another, and it was too heavy. He went throught the whole pile and at the very end, found one that fit just right. It was a burden he could accept joyfully. Then he looked closer at the cross and realized it was the same one he had originally.

You sure it isn’t a need for change or some symptoms of burnout? Those can be fixed by a good vacation or a change of scenery or even by spending some time on your hobbies, things that bring you joy. I’ve had to rely on the latter solution extensively in my life.

:nope: I can’t see how I can be happy when I feel like a cross is just too heavy for me to carry. Easier said than done.

If the cross is just too heavy, it could actually cause the reverse to be true–deteriorating relationship with God.

Something definitely made him to accept the burden joyfully. He apparently found the holy grail.

My issues are ongoing from early in my life. The priests and councilors have no answer for me. Part of it is economics but most of it is other stuff. I got hit again this weekend with my car taking on major storm damage. No way to repair it and my insurance company would just total the car which I am still paying off. 😦

Oh, sorry for your loss.

Filed a claim on my car have to keep it so hoping they will settle and not just total it. I can reject any offer or so I’ve been told.
