LOVE + FAITH = RIGHTEOUSNESS
What is this… some kind of beatnik cafe? That is the most rediculous thing I have ever heard.

Righteousness is right-standing with God… not love+faith.

Since we as sinners were not righteous, ARE not righteous, and cannot attain righteousness on our own… Christ died, shed His blood, and rose again that His own personal righteousness might be imputed to us.

That imputation of righteousness comes as a result of our faith… but it doesn’t equal faith.

Love is a by-product of righteousness… but that is a whole different discussion.

please read www.soladeiverbum.com/gracealone.shtml. It is something that I have heard has helped many people understand the Catholic position. If you want to disagree with this position, that is ok, but please try to understand it first. It is a deep topic which is very hard to get the big picture of without extensive research, but I have tried my best to put it all together into one piece. 🙂
