ok I admit it—I was a model for two pics when I was young. The little girl with the ponytail putting on lipstick in the mirror in the old ‘Your Youth-Getting the Best Out of It’ book and I was one of the bad girls in the pic of the women bathing to entice the fallen angels in the Live Forever book–the one in the foreground laughing. (I was also wicked queen Jezebel in one of the dramas at the convention one year…) (I guess I was always the bad one…)

Anyways, I agree with you. The pictures are nice, maybe for a children’s book on the Bible stories or something, but not something that would lift up my mind to worship. Maybe they do for you, BibleSteve.

You have to understand that Catholics are touchy when it comes to images of Biblical Stories, because part of our history is some of the best artwork of the Western World:
