JW's backcalls

Hi, I have another “problem”. A JW that has had many backcalls to me is still comming. I admit that I might have encouraged him to keep on comming, eventhough he knows my beliefs. (I used all the ammunition I had, and got tired to recharge)

How can I tell him politly to buzz off? (he is a sort of a friend, so maybe he believes I might change my mind. Eventough I told him many times what I think, etc…)

I will keep on praying for him and the other JW missionarys that came at my door. But now I want to close the door to him.(politely)

The way I have always handled them is this: Ill take some of your informaion if youll take some of mine i.e. Pliar of Truth.

Always makes them take a step back!

Ask him to pray with you, and invite him to Mass in the morning. If you have daily Mass.

I have a Jehovah’s witness who keeps coming and I am having great conversations with them. They said they are going to investigate how the Bible formed to see why does their canon match the canon of Martin Luther and not the original canon.

I had the same problem last year. But, when I found www.watchman.org everything changed. He was trying to take me to his congregation, but when I received the copies of the books written by Russell, I told him, “the jw doctrine is wrong, very wrong”, I continued, " if you want to come, you’re welcome, but we are going to talk about something else because there is nobody more blind than the one who does not want to see". He still comes once in a while just to say hi.
 
Invite the apostate into your house and start praying the rosary with him. He will never come back.

My sister is a JW, so I know more than many people do about them. The CA library articles are the best I’ve ever seen.

Slinging verses will get you nowhere. You have to shake their faith in the Watch Tower Society.

You must make them see the discrepancy in their material, eg. Their book about the trinity etc. I will tell you a story.

A few years ago a very strong in the faith JW used to visit and chat etc, well amongst other things I one day got him to show me the booklet they have about the trinity and includes quotes from Tertullian and others which “apparently” back up the JW’s belief that the trinity is a lie.

Him and I with another junior trainee JW went to a local bible college (protestant one, but makes no difference for the information) We then got out the writings quoted by Tertullian and the other Church fathers in the JW book, naturally enough of course when he read the quotes from the writings he could see that the quotes were definitiely misleading and in fact The Church Fathers who were quoted as not supporting the Trinity were actual died in the wool trinitarians, this really rocked him back in his chair, becasue it told him something about the material he was being given as a JW.

Now I might add that the trainee JW he had with him was most inquisitive towards him and wanted to know why the JW book was so deceptive etc, as she was not so indoctrinated and suddenly she could see the apparnt deception.

Now the reason I write this is that you must let the JW in his/her own mind question the JW organisation and using the Trinity booklet is one of the best becasue it is either very bad reaseach or deliberate lies. Becasue they can see the correct and true meanings in front of them they will question it for themselves.

Getting them to look at the writings is very easy becasue they use the Church Fathers to support their non trinity belief, so naturally enough when you suggest that they should look at the writings, they think the writings will actually confirm what their Trinity book says.

Plant the seed and let God water it.

:clapping: At one of my bus stops on the way to work there are always JW’s lurking around…I’m going to be laying in wait for them tomorrow.👍
