Kamala Harris, Joe Biden’s running mate in the 2020 election, raised eyebrows on Monday evening after she accidentally touted economic plans under a “Harris administration.”

Speaking during a virtual roundtable with small business owners in Arizona, Harris vowed that they will have an ally in the White House with the campaign’s “Build Back Better” initiative.

However, the California senator appeared to briefly suggest that she was at the top of the Democratic ticket.

"A Harris administration, together with Joe Biden as the president of the United States," she said. She quickly clarified, “The Biden-Harris administration will provide access to $100 billion in low-interest loans and investments from minority business owners.” . . .

She does know she’s in line to succeed Biden. She does know it’s the worst kept secret in Washington that Biden won’t serve his full term and may even leave quite early. That close to power, it’s quite intoxicating and it’s going to her head. Already.
 
Perhaps we have a glimpse into the democratic party plans for the office should they get Biden elected.
 
The more I think about it, the more I think that was done by “Team Biden” on purpose to attempt to manipulate Latino voters.

I think FoxNews title including “accidentally” was wrong.

Illegal aliens and even immigrants have raised issues over the years with Biden’s record on his opposition to immigration (back when it when it was politically expedient to do so).

I think they are trying to fool Latino voters into thinking with Harris, the illegal aliens are in good shape.

If they asked me, I would tell them not to worry about Biden deporting any illegals. Biden does what is politically advantageous in this area.

Biden is a globalist. If his handlers tell him to be OK with illegal aliens in the country he will abide. Likewise with TPP. More rotten trade deals for America if Biden had his way.

Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) may only be the vice presidential nominee on the Democrat ticket, but she is already promising that a “Harris administration with Joe Biden” will be a boon to voters.

The California lawmaker, whom the former vice president said he chose as his running mate last month because of her readiness “to lead on day one,” told a group of Latino small business owners from Arizona on Saturday that it was vital they made the right choice this November.

“As part of our Build Back Better agenda, we will need to make sure you have a president in the White House who actually sees you, who understands your needs, who understands the dignity of your work, and who has your back,” Harris said in a five-minute virtual address to the group, according to the Arizona Republic .

I think it was a mistake, but it effectively would be the case. Honestly I don’t see why anyone who is left wing and supported Sanders would vote for Biden. It’s just giving the Democratic Party time to shift back to the centre. Essentially a clique of centrists would be in control of the party.

That’s unless you believe the conspiracy theories that Biden will either step down (voluntarily or not) and Harris will come in and implement the far-left vision. I think the far-right thinks this is the plan and the far left hopes it is the plan.
 
Kamala Harris is not a far left figure. Only right wingers think of her as such. She is hates by the left for her career as a District Attorney.

Ah, so they dislike her actions in Jones v. Chappell. Apparently her opposition, including her amicus against Prop 8 isn’t enough to offset that. Or her support for transgender inmates. Or even the multitude of successful environmental lawsuits.

Geez, they sure are picky.

We probably have different reference points for who “the left” are. I am talking about the nominally “socialist” support that rallied around Sanders and was largely disappointed and fragmented when Biden won the nomination.

Kamala Harris during her career in the DA positioned herself as “tough on crime.” From the top of my head I know she cracked down on drug offences and was particularly proud of targeting truant children. Most of “the left” was denouncing her as a cop. She is not a particularly left wing candidate either economically or socially. Support for LGBT rights is pretty consistent with the “neoliberal” centre of the Democratic Party.

Former Vice President Joe Biden pitched U.S. military veterans on the notion of a “Harris-Biden administration” on Tuesday afternoon during a campaign swing through Florida.

Biden, who has aroused concerns over his fitness for the presidency in recent weeks, told reporters in Tampa that a White House helmed by himself and Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) would work to expand opportunities not only for veterans, but military families as well.

“It’s so much harder for military spouses to find good jobs and build their careers,” the Democrat nominee said. “We have to change that and we’re working on it… for example making it easier to carry your professional credentials with you, from one state to another, when your spouse moves.

“The Harris-Biden administration will relaunch that effort and make it easier for military spouses and veterans meaningful careers, to ensure teachers know how to support military children in the classroom, and to improve support for caregivers and survivors so much more than we do now,” the former vice president added.

It is unclear if Biden misspoke or was having technical issues, as his campaign has occasionally resorted to using teleprompters for public events. . . .

We’ve seen what a train wreck it is just to have Joe Biden do simple things like give a speech or answer questions in an interview.

He even appears to need a teleprompter to do softball interviews with James Corden, as we reported.

His team has refused to answer questions about his use of a teleprompter and they evaded the question yet again, instead claiming he is “out there everyday, taking questions” which in fact is not the case. . . .

. . . He’s largely avoided taking questions except for a couple of softball questions over the course of the whole week, hardly taking questions “everyday.” . . .

. . . So who’s actually going to be in charge if Joe can’t even do such simple things?

Well, let’s hear from both Joe Biden and Kamala Harris on that question.

This should disqualify him as a candidate for the presidency. A fraudulent campaign. And it is a slap in the face to democracy and to those who would vote for him.

The Democratic party has finally disregarded integrity. The Biden campaign is a farce. No other way to describe it.

And it makes no sense. If they were going to pull this stunt, why would they not have their Golden Girl Hilary running as VP ?

This has been the plan all along. Did anyone really think they were going to let Joe be president? Since Kamala can’t get elected on her own, look at record in the primaries, they’re using old Joe to get Kamala the presidency.

He is more electable than she is. Of course it’s a “Harris administration”.

Projecting my own thoughts here. But at this time I thi k the election is between Trump and non-Trump. Kamala is is as equally qualified as “not Trump” as Biden. I dont thi k dedicated democrats or potential voters care about a reference to “Kamala Administration.”

And Trump should be disqualified for not knowing the Presidency is limited to 2 four year terms. It is a slap in the face to democracy and all those who would vote for him.

The Republicans lost all integrity years ago, so I cannot say it is a sign of that.
