I don’t want to be unnecessarily judgmental, so I thought I’d ask for your (name removed by moderator)ut. Here is a disclaminer: I did not seek out this story. I saw it on the NBC nightly news.

I have a question about what KW did.

Did he do the right thing by leaving the stage in the middle of his performance? Doesn’t the old adage, “The show must go on,” apply to circumstances like this?
 
His wife (Kim Kardashian) was robbed. At gunpoint. She was gagged and tied up. He heard of it, he obviously had to leave!

I don’t know if he can continue the show after knowing what happened to his wife+mother of his children. I don’t like him or his wife+her family, but it’s completely understandable of him to not continue the show. Even if he could do nothing about the situation, I’m pretty sure he would need to sit down, make some calls and relieve his anxiety.

I initially thought it was a publicity stunt. But after hearing the details, I was quite worried. Guess we will wait and see.
 
Ethics? Kanye West and the Kardashians? Considering the vulgarity of Kanye West’s shows, the ethical thing for him to do would be to stop every show.
 
I think any concerned husband would find it difficult not to rush to his wife’s side, under those circumstances.

I intensely dislike Kanye West, but of course he did the right thing by putting his wife above his job. Refunds can be made and the show can go on some other time.
 
So, did he jump on a plane right after to be with her or just talk to her I wonder?

Pretty much this.

I left work abruptly fairly recently when my wife was injured and taken to the hospital.

I’ve done the same when my daughter was sick.
