Is it wrong to believe in this? Because, I do think whatever goes around comes around.
Exactly! My boyfriend has believed in karma in the past. I told him that the Bible teaches the same thing but in different words and I think he accepts the Biblical view of it now.No, its not that its a wrong principle, but that its from the wrong source. Any thing thats not from God is dangerous to believe in. Hinduism is a false religion that worships idols. Demonic activity is behind the idols. The illustration of this is from Acts 16:17 where a girl possesed by a demon spoke the truth but Paul had to silence her and cast out the demon not because what she said was wrong but because it was from the wrong source.
Far better to believe Gal. 6:7, “whatsoever a man sows, that shall he also reap.”
As a matter of fact, the Bible does not teach that “what goes around comes around,” at least not in this world. In fact, the Bible notes that often those with the greatest virtue are those with the least earthly rewards. We see this in modern life, too. Whose earthly rewards were greater, Mother Theresa or Michael Jackson? Innocent people somestimes receive the death penalty while murderers sometimes go free. Dishonest business dealings often result in financial rewards.Exactly! My boyfriend has believed in karma in the past. Then again, one might call upon that Newtonian law, “For every action an equal and opposite reaction?”Hi,
Actually the word “karma” simply means “action”. Don’t get it confused with the concept of consequences, although it is one half of that equation …
Are you joking? You know that that law has nothing to do with Karma, right? It’s an outdated but still useful physics law. Then again, one might call upon that Newtonian law, “For every action an equal and opposite reaction?”
