In order to send Suri to a Catholic school, she would have had to register with the Parish, so yeah, that’s probably what she’s done. That’s a great first step to take anyway…
Non-Catholics can send their kids to Catholic schools, so it isn’t a general requirement to register with the Parish to send a child to Catholic school. Sometimes registered parishoners get a discount, but I doubt she needs that 😃

Most Schools are directly connected to the local parish, so most parents, I would assume(as I know is mostly the case here too), would be automatically registered, both Parish and School, when they enrol their kids in the school. I believe, even if they’re not practising Catholics, as it’s often a pre-requist of enrolment(in my country), that they live in the Parish(for local Catholic primary schools).

I know that despite my parents being lapsed at the time, when I(or my older brother) was enrolled in my first School, which was a Catholic Primary School, they were visited at home by the Parish Priest as part of the enrolment process and were registered(or had already been registered, Not personally sure) as part of that process. In my country you still have to have been Baptised in order to attend a Catholic School, So that was probably why they were visited as part of the process back then.

Convent of the Sacred Heart does not mention being attached to any particular parish. St. Francis Xavier parish does not mention being attached to any particular school.

I will note that the Convent of the Sacred Heart is located at 1 East 91st Street, NYC 10128, while the parish is located at 55 West 15th Street, NYC 10011 - I don’t have to look at a map to tell you that those are geographically diverse locations, even by NYC standards. And actually looking at a map, it shows they are 4.2 miles apart.

So it seems that we have two stories: the well-confirmed story that Suri is enrolled in Convent of the Sacred Heart, and a wild rumor without any evidence that Holmes registered with St. Francis Xavier. The parish, by the way, has a statement about this very thing on their front page, but all it says is that they cannot comment on the situation.

I am still waiting to see when and where Katie Holmes attends a Mass, and I am not really holding my breath, but I will pray for her conversion.

Give Katie a chance to get her life back to normal and PRAY that those crazy Scientology people don’t come after her and her children.
Catholic school will be good for her children, but what worries me is what their father will do to influence them with all the Scientology stuff.
That’s where the biggest problems will start.

Katie doesn’t really have ‘children’ just Suri and 2 step-children Connor and Isabelle. Sadly, Connor and Isabelle are Scientologists. I’m not saying that Katie doesn’t think of Connor and Isabelle as her children

Katie is protecting Suri- she doesn’t want her to join Scientology
