What is kava tea??

Kava Kava is a ceremonial drink in the south Pacific from ancient times and is mildly narcotic. Was used in their pagan rituals. The women chewed the root and spit it in a bowl until they had enough for their ceremony. Tasted it when I was in Fiji years ago and didn’t think much of it. You would be better off drinking green tea.

Hmmm… I would make sure you do a lot of reading before you consider consuming this stuff:

Try to find a medical website, or talk to your doctor about it. Be wary of any site that sells the stuff… it is going to … “sell” it to you. You know what I mean?

Many kava supplements and teas are contaminated with harmful substances like ephedrine, pesticides, even benzodiazepines. There’s evidence that kava can lead to liver failure. It also has potentially serious interactions with other drugs.

As for being a sin? I don’t know. But I would STRONGLY advise you to talk to your doctor before beginning to take any medication, including herbals.
