Keeping Easter Throughout the Season

I try to keep celebrating Easter at home past Easter Sunday. I have Easter figurines that I keep up, and we do light candles at dinner (which we don’t normally do) and say short Easter prayer before Grace. I’d love to get some other ideas. What things do your families do to celebrate Easter throughout the liturgical season?

“TKC” This is a very interesting thought/idea. Thanks for starting it. I don’t have any suggestions, at the moment… but it makes perfect sense; afterall, EVERY Sunday… is like Easter!

To answer my own question (and to bump), I just found something I bought last summer and had forgotten about. A Tomie de Paola Garden of the Good Shepherd Easter Calendar. It has 50 reusable stickers to put on this large background. There’s a booklet that goes with it that has accompanying readings for each of the days from Easter Sunday to Pentecost. I just found it today, so we haven’t done it yet. Looks good though.

Great thread topic. I opened it looking for ideas.

Relating to the Easter season is Divine Mercy Sunday. I say the prayers daily–maybe I should do this with my family–and we’ll attend Confession at a Divine Mercy service next Sunday.
