Do you think it would be a sin to go to the gym/do strenuous exercise, like lifting weights, on Sunday? I don’t think so, but what’s other people’s opinions?
If that is what relaxes you - I don’t think it would break the obligation of keeping the Lord’s day.
If you don’t like doing it and it is annoying or stressful - it would be breaking the obligation.
I can’t see that being sinful. As long as you met your Sunday obligation regarding Mass you can continue to enjoy your day. Playing a great piece on the piano can be draining but it would not be sinful to do on sunday. Your workout can remain prayerful as there is no need to forget what day it is. That’s my two cents…Just keep Sunday special from the rest in whatever way you praise God…teachccd
No problem, except if it was to be some sort of obsession with working out that kept one from family and friends or from mass.
I’ve known a few people obsessed with exercise, and it’s just like any other addiction (except that they were in better shape than those addicted to alcohol, nicotine and drugs.)
