One of the most popular protections in India is the Enthronement of our homes to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The Enthronement grew out of a promise made by Christ to Margaret Mary Alocoque: “I will bless every house in which an image of My Heart shall be exposed and honored.”
/QUOTE]

I have a holy card with the sacred heart picture/prayer tucked into the mirror right behind my front door when you enter. It always gives me safety… along with a holy card of St. Michael, who banishes all evil. prayer below, with quote from Pope John Paul II on Sunday, April 24, 1994:

Also, recently found the below site when looking for a novena for something else. There is one that is said to be a ‘simple exorcism prayer’ which you might find interesting…

Beyond all this, in my opinion, your best protection from anything not of God… is your faith !

Blessings to you,
Margaret 🙂

Are you experiencing spiritual attack?
Spiritual demons are around us all the time. We don’t have to actually experience first hand a demon spirit for us to have our houses blessed and consecrated in different forms.

I have a Crucifix in each room. I have a house Scapular hanging on my front door. I have blessed salt. I have spray bottles with holy water in them to spray our rooms. I have Holy Water fonts in all the room entrances.

My daughter sprays herself as she lies down to go to sleep. She used to hear strange noises at night. We all can hear strange noises from time to time at night, but these noises were not your normal “run o’ the mill” night noises. She started praying for the person’s soul who used to own our little condo here (he died while still owning my condo). She prayed for days and then I got the spray bottles and she started to add that to her prayers. She told me that she thinks the man’s soul was there asking for her prayers for his soul. So she started praying. She also started spraying herself and her bed and sheets all over. The noises stopped and she thinks that the man’s soul is now in heaven.

I also have a Holy Water Font in every room. I wear the Five-fold Scapular and a Virgin Most Powerful Medal. That is actually the second apparition of our Lady to St. Catherine, with the third being the one that is on our Miraculous Medals. I have a small Miraculous Medal attached to my Scapular and also a small St. Benedict Medal.

I did all of that before my daughter started hearing those noises. But she told me that the noises did not scare her in any way. It was as if she knew that it was the man’s soul asking her for her prayers.

If anyone wants someone to pray for them, besides our Virgin Mother in Heaven, they should ask a child to pray for them. God will usually grant whatever is asked in pray from a child if that child of course is not asking for an X-Box or something. 😉

Hmmm…

I would say that as long as you don’t have occultic items around the house (Tarot cards, Ouija boards, Feng Shui charms, lucky frogs, images of pagan gods, stuff like that) or engage in occult practices, you probably don’t have too much to worry about. Unlike human evil, supernatural evil can’t come in without an invitation.

I have taken to praying the Our Father, and prayers to the Blessed Mother and St. Raphael in my massage room before I start work each day, whilst flinging liberal amounts of holy water about (I used to pray and fling once every few weeks when the energy started to feel funky, now it’s how I start my work day). I do have reason to be concerned at work. Massage therapy- actually, any form of holistic health care, is a magnet for pagans, as well as people who don’t profess a particular religion but are into occult/New Age practices. We’ve got a Feng Shui master, who I guess pulls down a pretty penny by going to people’s houses and Feng Shuiing them.

I get a little nervous that one of my well-meaning coworkers might bring something nasty into the office…

I think I read about some coin medallions that people usually place all around the house to keep them protected from bad spirits. I don’t know what saint or prayer they have, does anyone know what I’m talking about? Should they be blessed as well?
Stumbled on the below site when searching for a quote…

Lots of good links towards the bottom…
