With the recent abuse scandals that came to light in March/April, etc. this case was front page news at the New York times for days on end. As of this posting, there is not even a mention of it being dropped on the front-page of the NYT website. It is not even mentioned on the National News section. I guess it’s hard to report that a case you built your anti-Catholic rhetoric around for so long turns out to be a fraud.

Not that I would expect honesty from liberals and atheists, but it is still frustrating to not see the Church get any vindication on the NYT.
 
Squirrel, I suppose you know this already, but don’t hold your breath expecting fair treatment from the Times. It exists to push a point of view and condemn those who don’t think the way they do.

Personally, I loathe that newspaper. Walter Duranty received a Pulitzer Prize while writing for the Times in the 1930s denying the Holodomor - Stalin’s starvation of Ukranians.

On top of that Herbert Mathews wrote glowing articles about Fidel Castro and his merry bunch of Communists in the late 1950s.

I could go on but I won’t waste the bandwidth. If not for Carlos Slim the Times would be out of business.
