As usual the Pope uses very vivid images to bring our attention to very deep matters. I feel that many of the points he raised can be applied directly to the everyday experience of any lay person. I do hope that sometime soon he will provide a similar list for the rest of us: there is a peculiar “force” in the way he brings us face to face with our hypocrisies, that really awakens conscience. I am very grateful.
