Fortunately we don’t have to take fairy tales, even gruesome ones, as fact.
I’m sure that the fairy godmother didn’t change a pumpkin into a coach for a girl called Cinderella!.
Or that there was a mermaid who exchanged her tail for legs!
There may even be people who believe such tales or legends are true. :eek:
That doesn’t make them true.
