Kids React to Gay Marriage

Sorry, I was able to watch about two minutes of it, and I want my two minutes back.

The compilers of the video provide links under the heading “Marriage Equality Links/Information” and links to the amazingly biased APA site, so this is by no means an unbiased video. It’s pro-redefining-marriage propaganda.

Understanding that, if you still want to watch it, feel free. If I had known, I wouldn’t have bothered.

True but i watched it enjoying all the kids raised with common sense reel back in disgust.

I find it interesting that they didn’t show the homosexual couples kissing or getting romantically physical.

I believe that to consummate a ‘marriage’ between two of the same sex means to use the bodies organs in a manner in which they are not designed to be used for and I believe that to think same sex marriage is all just ‘holding hands’ is naive.

What I find most interesting, is that you have come to a Catholic forum knowing full well what the Catholic Church teaches about homosexuality and than post a video of a group of kids just hurling abuse at us and claiming that we hate homosexual people.

What’s the thinking behind this?

I mean I understand if you have trouble with the Church’s teachings on homosexuality, and if so, why not come here and ask questions about it to uncover any misconceptions or understand a different position on it?

It seems to me that anyone who is against same sex marriage or believes that the sexual acts of homosexuality is wrong is labelled (I should really say shouted down as) a ‘bigot’ ‘homophobe’ or somone who simply hates homosexuals, which is simply not true.

I don’t mind if someone objects to a position I hold, but I do very much mind, when they put me into a position I do not hold and than object to it.

I think the OP and I would agree that this video shows that the church is under cultural attack. So this shows us how devious our enemy can be. And it was interesting to see the younger kids with common sense act in schock.

Ok so i worded that wrong…not disgust, just shock…the point is that they still have a bit of common sense left.
 
People need to calm down the video was pro gay propaganda but it was not posted to ca for that purpose it was posted here to expose the propaganda not encourage it. Quit debating over the video! Sheesh we all agree on the fact that it is immoral I dont see what the division between some of the posters is about.

I don’t know, I was under the impression that the OP agreed with it as if the Church needs to get with the times on this issue. However I apologise that I didn’t think of this either, so I will not make any futher assumptions until I hear fom the OP.

😦 I would like to apologise to everyone for my previous posts, I forgot to turn to the quote in my signature.

I believe the sexual acts of homosexuality are immoral, I am against same sex marriage and I love all my brothers and sisters regardless of sexual orientation.

Posters may unleash their rage against me if they wish, and if anyone is interested in how I could hold such a view or want to inquire about it, please feel free to ask.

The video showed me a few things I already knew.
  1. The current generation is being taught by secular media not the Church.
  2. Kids don’t understand what marriage is as Jesus defined it.
  3. Kids like most like to see ppl love each other. No problem there.
  4. Kids don’t know the physical part of homosexual relationships (sex) is forbidden in Scripture.

Children react according to what they’ve been taught, either explicitly or implicitly. There are instances where this is not true, but for the most part there are parents and teachers behind children who have given them their ideas.

I guess I just don’t like the idea of using children in an attempt to legitimize any idea. It seems manipulative.
