I mean I understand if you have trouble with the Church’s teachings on homosexuality, and if so, why not come here and ask questions about it to uncover any misconceptions or understand a different position on it?

It seems to me that anyone who is against same sex marriage or believes that the sexual acts of homosexuality is wrong is labelled (I should really say shouted down as) a ‘bigot’ ‘homophobe’ or somone who simply hates homosexuals, which is simply not true.

I don’t mind if someone objects to a position I hold, but I do very much mind, when they put me into a position I do not hold and than object to it.

Where, in my original post, have I said that I condone gay marriage? Secondly, why do you think that posting material that may have an opposing opinion is some sort of “attack” on the Catholic Church? All I said was that watching the reaction of children regarding this controversial issue is a good way of getting an idea of the general direction society is headed, for better or for worse.

Would you say the same thing if the children unanimously said that two men or two women should not get married? I ask because I recently saw something similar from a Christian organization featuring kids and observed the comments suggesting it was great, I wondered if those same people would think it was great if the children’s responses supported the “other side.” Because they could have.

I didn’t like that the person interviewing them was asking them leading questions. Those responses wouldn’t have counted if they were witnesses in court.

Well, if this is true, then it must be on such a slow process that no one can even see it happening! Ive not seen anyone that does such things suffering in anyway, in fact, many succeed…?? so was God wrong, or…?

Plus, to look at society, we can see they are succeeding at swaying the opinions of future adults, so it kinda appears they are getting what they intended, eventually it wont even be an issue anymore, it will be just the norm to be accepting of ANY kind of relationship, especially gay ones, doesnt make sense to me? Seems like this statement by Christ was a contradiction.

Well, the problem, marriage is a vow taken before God, there is nothing secular about it and cannot be, so gays marrying is an abomination against God, but if you look at the world, God doesnt seem to be too upset, I havent seen any Sodom/Gomorrah type events recently, and we are inching towards national legalization of gay marriage too!!!

Im actually quite amazed we have not seen some cities destroyed by God over this.

It’s telling how some individuals view gay marriage as a civil right while others view it as an attack and its proponents as enemies. The problem that those who feel a need to propagate their negativity have an enormous burden as there is a substantial non gay majority in the the US and western world that believe gay marriage is not evil, in some ways good or something that in no respect concerns them.

It was good to see these kids using their unprejudiced rational thinking in expressing the happiness among the couples in the video.
 
After I watched the video… what is happening on earth?!

I can’t believe these kids believe that it is right to have same-sex marriage?? I have no problems with gay people. I have a best friend who’s a lesbian, I have friends who are bisexual and gay.

What really matters here is that it isn’t natural. Why do people want to believe the Greek culture? (if you know what I am saying). And what matters here is that gay people think that God hates them and so on. They’re also children of God, so how can He hate them. The only thing that is wrong here is the homosexual act. Of course, when you have sex with your spouse, you must be able to reproduce another human being? As the Bible says, sex must have these two key points - commitment and reproduction. Now this goes to a question for adoption. Adoption is an option for married couples who can’t produce children - because they impotent.

To top it all, I have no problems with gay people. I just don’t find it normal for gay people to get married.

P.S.: God created a man and a woman during the story of Creation so there’s no room for gay marriage. I hope you guys would understand. Just stay single and live morally!
 
Is this to imply that “civil marriage” and “religious marriage” are inseparable?

Wanna know what’s sad? Ironically they would say the same thing about kids holding up pro-life or pro-family signs. The only difference is, we are the ones trying to defend and teach kids proper morals but nonetheless they will point the finger at us for using kids for “propaganda.”
 
Any parent who would allow their youngster to be confronted and presented with things to do with homosexuality by what would be strangers, would have to be right out of their minds, bordering insanity or at least completely out of touch with the news and realities concerning this topic.

Therefore any findings are of no use, due to a given improper rearing and upbringing. Plus it is a formal adult environment and they know, they are on show. The cunning homosexual encouraging will stop at nothing , but…schemes are always without , easy to debunk and flat out stupid. They do know I’m sure how per-occupied they are and appear to be - with imposing idea’s on the youth, which obviously is none of their buisness, if not, what exactly is that business. Come out with this and guess what, a few lights come on…tough.

Oh, I agree. We as a society will be known and judged by how we treat and raise our children. Believe it or not, I was a Catholic convert at the age of 19. Everyday I face the temptations and perverse things I was exposed to when was I young.
 
Just another case of the church obviously not doing enough to make sure kids today are taught what is moral and right…Id kinda think if studies show modern day kids DO NOT see anything wrong with gay marriage, then the CC would ramp up efforts or come up with alternative plan to combat this…right?..so, I wonder what their plan is to turn this around?

Satan has succeeded on many such fronts in getting to AND winning their influence, whether its modern music, celebs, tv and movies, other entertainment…all this is bombarding kids today, and its clear satans influence is working…strange that the CC and God dont have a similar approach that is working.
 
Homosexual acts are particularly disgusting.

It’s been quite a propaganda show that the activists have put on, in order to try to spin people and also to make themselves find some psychological equilibrium about their deviance.
