The office manager at my kids’ dentist is always so kind… offered me a bottle of water… the little things help so much sometimes.

Laundry, cleaning toilets, floors etc… and stopping to visit with a friend/neighbor yesterday while out for a stroll.

I opened my home to a friend who was having a rough time so they could get away from the source of their stress for a while.

Put the numerous garbage and recycling bins out for collection today at the rectory. Father usually takes care of that himself, but he’s rather run down these days so I took care of it…and did not tell him, so I hope it was a pleasant surprise when he discovered it had already been done.

My mechanic gave the car a quick check over ,tyres pumped, noise located etc free of charge 🙂

yesterday a former co-worker/neighbor came over with his snow thrower and cleared the driveway for us. We lost power and cable/internet access yesterday so didn’t post it then. This a.m. we gave a neighbor/friend a ride to the store to pick up groceries.

i went outside at zero:darkthirty & helped the guy (who i am paying) to clear the snow

maybe it was an act of kindness or maybe i was just going mad with cabin-fever

anyway, we discussed how we both wanted to move south…

I accidentally tripped over the leash and on top of my dog. My dog bit me, in self-defence. Luckily I didn’t injure him. He took a lump of flesh off my arm. I didn’t get angry at him because I knew he was just acting on instinct.
I really need to be as forgiving towards human beings. (if they bite me ?? 🙂 )

Posing as a model or mannequin for my wife for her sewing project of making trapper style hats.

Why certainly 7_Sorrows :). I texted a friend and my son with some kind words today. And a kind act for myself was to get off the couch and enjoy a brisk walk.

Of course it does! You’ve given away your blood for the eventual benefit of a stranger, and you accepted no compensation for it (I assume you were not paid for your blood). That’s a very kind act!

I wish I could donate blood, but I’m barred for life (long story). So I’m always touched when other people do 🙂

No kind act from me yet today, but there’s still plenty of time…

Kindness shown! The roof in an old cottage nearby is getting dangerous so I have blocked off the doors…My cats used to love going in there. Yesterday I saw one of the cats peering down the chimney and my overactive imagination “saw” her getting stuck… When they came today to install the internet ( YAY!) I asked them to please check and block the chimney as I can no longer climb ladders … Bless that kindness!

No I was not paid, but I did get a card for a free Chick filet sandwich. I couldn’t donate for many years because I was so anemic. Finally my iron is normal and my hemoglobin count is normal so I am going to try to donate more often. There are many restrictions these days from medicines you take and where you have travelled which is good. Back in the 1970’s my aunt who had leukemia was actually in remission, but died from hepatitis from a tainted blood transfusion.
Evidently back then, they weren’t as careful about who was giving blood.
Now they really pressure you to give a double red donation. I don’t know what that is exactly, but they seem disappointed if you just want to give a normal blood donation.

My mom had knee replacement surgery on Tuesday. She’s home today and I’m taking her the banana popsicles she was craving before her operation but couldn’t get for herself due the knee pain she had in walking too far.

Hello.

Does refraining from doing something irritating count as a kind act?
