Brothers and sisters in Christ, kindly pray for my grandfather. He has suffered a slight stroke. He recovered (within a few hours, remarkably) the motor loss that the stroke caused. It wasn’t the result of a clot, thankfully, but of burst blood vessels in his brain (sounds serious to me, but the doctors were relieved, so go figure). At any rate, he’s eighty-nine and things like this are dicey for the aged. He’s lived a long life and he’s a faithful Christian and a grand old man, so no one is running around wailing and gnashing their teeth, but I would appreciate your prayers as the doctors are wanting to take this opportunity to go ahead and perform surgery on the arteries in his neck (this is probably far more than you want to know!). Thank you!

I shall pray that God’s will be done and that your grandfather is free of pain. I shall also pray that your family accept the will of God.

Love and peace,

Mom of 5

Praying for your grandfather - both of my own have been gone for a few years, along with my paternal grandmother 😦

Will do! No matter what age our loved ones are we still want to see them alive and happy–that’s only natural, isn’t it? I pray the operation goes well and that your grandfather will have several more years of good health.

This is a very serious operation. An acquaintance was greatly
helped by it though and enjoyed good health for another 10
years. Here is my prayer for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We ask your blessing tonight on a dear grandfather and the
family that loves him so much.
We ask for healing of his illnesses.
Be with him and the whole family at this time.
Take away all their fears and anxieties,
and let your peace rest in their hearts, Amen.

All our love to your family…:blessyou:

I prayed for your Grandfather. Please let us know how he’s doing.

Thank you all very, very much. Your kindness will be remembered before the Throne of Mercy.

We find out today when he’s going to have the surgery.

Surgery is today at noon, Central Standard Time. Please remember him in your prayers.

I am praying for your dear Grandfather along with you & your family.

My grandfather’s surgery went well and to our astonishment (he’s 89, after all) he was released the next day to recuperate at my mother’s house! Thank you all for your prayers. Your kindness means a lot.

He’s doing VERY well. A little subdued, I wish he would complain about something, but all in all, very well.
