So give me YOUR Scripture…
So in short Jesus is king.
Luke 1:
32He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, 33and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever; his kingdom will never end."
So lets look at the monarchy of the throne of David, how did David’s son Solomon treat his mother?
1 Kings 2:
When Bathsheba went to King Solomon to speak to him for Adonijah, the king stood up to meet her, bowed down to her and sat down on his throne. He had a throne brought for the king’s mother, and she sat down at his right hand.
“So sure,” you can say, “she had a throne and the king pays respect to her, it doesn’t mean shes a queen, does the bible actually refer to anyone as ‘queen mother’?”
2 Kings 10:12:
They said, “We are relatives of Ahaziah, and we have come down to greet the families of the king and of the **queen mother.” **
And there are other places where the grandmother fills the role of “queen mother.” I could cite more but you get the idea.

Archangel Gabriel said to Mary, "He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God will give him the throne of his father David. Luke Chapter 1 verse 32.

Is not David the King? In the Old Testmen Jewish Kings had mothers as their Queen. The Jewish Kings had many wives, and the only that can serve as Queen is their mother.

If Jesus is the King of the New Kingdom, he will continue that Jewish tradition, and therefore Mary is the Queen of Heaven.

Second, Book of Revelation a woman clothed with the sun, with 12 stars on her head have birth to a child who will rule all nations. A Queen wears a crown. The male child we know is Jesus, and the woman is Mary. So the Queenship of Mary is ancient as Christianity itself.

OK, let’s go point by point.

Sidebar: Welcome back, M!!! Where have you been? 🙂
  1. In Israel, as is evidenced all throughout Chronicles and Kings, the King is listed with his mother.
  2. As is evidenced first by Bathsheba, where Solomon brings a chair set down “at his right”, the queen mother has some authority.
  3. This authority is even acknowledged by God, who through Jeremiah, tells the queen in chapter 13:18-20, “Say to the king and to the queen mother: come down from your throne; From your heads fall your magnificent crowns. The cities of the Negeb are besieged, with no one to relieve them; All Judah is banished in universal exile. Lift up your eyes and see men coming from the north. Where is the flock entrusted to you, the sheep that were your glory?”
  4. Jesus is King of Heaven, as has been shown in previous posts with references to Matthew, Revelations, and don’t forget the thief on the Cross, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom”. To which Jesus responds, “Today, you will be with me in Paradise”.
  5. Heaven is called the New Jerusalem, as well as the New Israel.
  6. Hence, Mary is the Queen Mother.

I have never heard any statement closer to a blasphemy spoken unintentionally.
That’s odd because what he wrote is correct.
Also, your interpretation of who the Queen was is erroneous. Solomon’s might have been his mother (although I don’t think so), but the norm in the Middle East is that the favored wife of the king is the Queen Consort. The same system is used in any polygamist society–also in Asian societies, which, though technically monogamous, allowed concubines to the rulers.

I’ve never heard Christ called the King of Heaven; that title belongs to God considered as a Triune entity, not merely Second Person of the Trinity.
Again, this is odd because I attended the Cathedral of Christ the King in Atlanta, GA when I was in college. A Cathedral is, of course, where the Bishop’s chair is located.
In relation to that trinity, Mary is the daughter of the Father, the mother of the Son, and the bride of the Holy Spirit. Now does it make a bit more sense? She is Queen of Heaven as the wife of the Third Person, not the Second.
Here’s an article from EWTN’s site that might help:

Hi,
Isn’t it funny that Joseph is from the line of David, so I guess that makes her queen of heaven and earth. Just a thought.

Peace

OK, watch it now. If we start inventing titles for Mary, some people may start accusing us of worshipping Mary instead of Jesus. 😉

Right, despite the winky-smiley. St. Joseph may have been of royal lineage, but he wasn’t king, so Mary’s gebirah-status is not by virtue of her being the wife of St. Joseph, but by virtue of her being Jesus’ mother.

The Bible tells us that Man does not live by Bread alone but by every word that proceeds out of the Mouth of God.

No where in Gods word does it describe Mary as a Queen in Heaven… she is the birth Mother of Christ… yes… blessed amongst Women yes…, but the word that proceeds out of Gods mouth gives her no other title.

Gods word can be trusted.

Peace

Ok…now show me where in the Bible it says that Gods word is contained exclusively within the Bible

You fail to realized like many Protestants the Jewishness of the Davidic Kingdom. Jesus inherited the Kingdom of David. Like OT Jewish Kings, they had mothers as their Queens.

Jesus is the King and it is common amongst Jewish tradition of the Davidic Kingdom that he made his mother the Queen and its clear in Revelation 12 that the woman clothed with the sun is Mary because this woman gave birth to a male child who will rule all nations. This male child is Jesus, and this woman is Mary therefore Mary is the Queen. The woman happen to be wearing a crown.

Second, there is no word Trinity in the Bible. Trinity is defined term to describe God as One God in Three Persons, Father, Son and Holy Ghost.

Not everything in Christian faith is founded in Scripture Alone. It is Sacred Scripture, Sacred Tradition, and the Magisterium (Authority of the Church).

The Word that proceeds out of Gods mouth can be trusted.
Yes, and the Word that proceeds out of God’s mouth says thusly:
  1. Jesus is King of the House of David.
  2. The mother of the King of the House of David is Queen Mother.
  3. Mary is mother of the King of the House of David.
  4. fill in the blank.
All of these are from God’s word which you claim to trust. Do you deny the truth of all that has been said here?

Have you read ANY of the thread?

Read post #26 and show me where the Word of God denies Mary’s queenship.

Mary’s role as queen of heaven is all through the bible. Just because there is no single verse that says it does NOT make it necessarily so. Do you see any single verse that fully explains the Trinity?

It’s people that look for single verses to form their theology that has caused several “Traditions of Man”, such as:
  • Unitarian Baptism
  • Sola Fide
  • Sola Scriptura
  • Once Saved, Always Saved

The Word that proceeds out of Gods mouth can be trusted.
AMEN!
Unfortunately, the Sola Scriptura crowd believes that the whole of God’s word is contained in the Bible. To pigeonhole God’s eternal word into a single compilation does an injustice to him.
Verbum Dei - the WORD of God - not Sola Scriptura, SCRIPTURE alone. God’s word is vast and eternal.

NOWHERE in the Bible does it make the claim that the Bible alone is our sole rule of faith.

BUT, John (16:12-15) assures us that the Holy spirit guides the Church into **ALL **truth (not just what’s written in Scripture).
2 Thess. 2:15, 2 Thess. 3:6 and 1 Cor. 11:2 COMMAND us that we are to adhere to the **TRADITIONS **taught by the Church.
Finally, John 21:25 emphatically states that if the things that Jesus did were described individually "the whole world would contain the books that would be written."

Checkmate.
