Does anybody on this forum honour and pray to KIng Charles the Martyr?

Many High Anglicans regard him as a saint and some Catholics also honour him, despite his being Protestant.

What little I know of Charles I was mostly gleaned from the 1971 film “Cromwell”.

If I were an Anglican, I would definitely remember him as a martyr and a hero who died at the hands of a rebel faction.

Charles I definitely had his flaws - as do we all - but Oliver Cromwell was no friend of Catholics. I think the Church would have been far better off if Charles had lived.
