It’s called murder. King David called for his wife’s husband to be sent into battle to be killed. He also ordered all the deaths of all the males surrounding the Dead Sea near Jerusalem.
Moses killed I believe an Egyptian slave.
St. Paul killed and persecuted Christians before he was called.
Cain killed his brother Abel.

Why does God choose murderers to do His work?

Why dose He call anyone to do His work? Mysterious are His ways!

Interesting question. We look at degrees of sin…but to God sin is sin and we are all
sinners. They and we are allowed to do God’s work because of the Cross of Jesus.
Don’t know about Cain, but King David, Moses and Saint Paul also deeply loved God.
