What about the man who was voted THE most influential person on music of the 20th century…Bob Dylan. This was voted on by the music industry. The Stones are good, a garage band that made it big time. The’re good industrial rock. John Mellencamp, good working mans rock. Jackson Browne, very good. Rush, pure inovation. The B-52s :dancing: The Andrew Sisters :bounce: I could go on and on.
Rap, :crying:
Disco, :banghead:
Country,

Along with Bruce Springsteen, I can’t think of anyone more over-rated than Bob Dylan. The fact that a socially incestuous crowd like the music industry voted him tops only reinforces my opinion!

Now Mellencamp and Browne–that’s what I call music; one unvarnished Rock, the other pure artistry!

I totally disagree with you about Dylan, but agree about Springsteen. You did make me LOL though. :rotfl: I like strong opinions, even if I disagree.
