Please pray for a man named Mike who is going to have knee replacement surgery on June 12th. He only has the one leg, the other being a prosthetic, so it’s very important that this go well. Plus he’s in his 70s. He also still works. Pray the surgery goes well, and that his recovery time is as short as possible, and no infection. Please. Thanks, prayer warriors!

I am praying that his surgery will go well with no complications, that he makes a quick recovery, and that he is able to return to work soon after it.

Dear Lord,
Look kindly upon your faithful servant Mike. I beseech thee, steer the hands of his surgeons steadily, and take great care of all who love him. Lord, if it be your will, expedite this trying time and spare Mike of infection. We ask this in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

St. Roch, Anthony of Padua, Anthony the Abbot, pray for us.

Jesus, please give full recovery to Mike
Please grant that his surgery goes well and no infection occurs, and that his recovery time is rapid. Be with Mike and bless him and his life.
St Michael, please intercede for Mike…Trishie

Thank you all so much. I forgot to ask for prayer for his wife also, she is very worried.

God bless, and you are in my prayers.

Jesus, you know how important it is that Mike’s knee replacement go well. Please be with him during his surgery and also during his recovery. Thank You Always.

Eternal Father, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us, that in difficult moments we might not despair nor become despondent, but with great confidence submit ourselves to Your holy will, which is Love and Mercy itself.

Amen :byzsoc:

Thank you all so much. Mike and his wife are such a generous, giving couple. Always there for their kids and grandkids, and for others as well. They have been a help to me many times.

I am remembering you all in my prayers.

From today’s Liturgy of the Hours:

Psalm 17 (18)

Thanksgiving

The Lord’s ways are pure; the words of the Lord are refined in the furnace; the Lord protects all who hope in him.
For what God is there, but our Lord? What help, but in the Lord our God?
God, who has wrapped me in his strength and set me on the perfect path,
who has made my feet like those of the deer, who has set me firm upon the heights,
who trains my hands for battle, teaches my arms to bend a bow of bronze.

Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be,
world without end.
Amen.

Praying for Mike and his wife.
May God guide his doctors and surgeons,
give him strength, comfort, and peace.

Again, thank you all. Knowing people are praying is such a comfort to Mike and his wife. God bless you all.

Mike will be having his surgery the day after tomorrow, and I found out yesterday that he also has a bad heart and kidney problems. I did not know this, so please keep him in prayer, and his wife who is very upset. Thank you all.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women and blessed is the Fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen

Mike is out of surgery and doing as well as expected. Now the road to recovery. Thank you all for your prayers. Please pray his recovery goes well.

Lord of the Powers be with us, for in times of distress we have no other help but You.
Lord of the Powers, have mercy on Mike.

Update on Mike. He hasn’t been able to do rehab because something is wrong with his foot, and he cannot put weight on his leg. They are trying to find out what is wrong there.

Also he’s barely eating, and is very stressed and upset. The pain meds they had been giving him had a side-effect of making him agitated, so they had to give him something for that, and he’s ‘loopy’ as a result, but still stressed.

Please don’t stop praying for him. And his wife and family.
