I am planning on making knotted rosaries as a way of self substaining myself, as I give out a lot of sacramental and Catholic books and stuff. However to buy all these things I need a way of substaining myself so that I can afford them. I am planning on doing this by making and selling knotted rosaries for an unexpected price. I was wondering if anyone knew what things I would need to make a knotted rosary. I want the rosary to have pretty thick knots such as the following.

would have future interest in purchasing one…could you use a crucifix that i supply? thx patrick (up for further discussion anytime)

You can buy size 36 nylon cord from these two websites: divine twine or twine by design. There are many colors to choose from. One site sells the cord by pre-cut 20 foot sections, the other sells it by the spool.

Thanks for the replies. What size do you think the cors is for the rosary that I posted in the link? Would you think it is #36 or perhaps bigger? Also do you think the cord is twisted or would it be braided?

Can’t really tell fom the picture what size te cord might be. The websites I mentioned sell it in sizes 21 and 36. I only use size 36, I think it’s perfect. Not too big or small. The cord is twisted, not braided. Be ready to burn the ends to prevent fraying.
