Hi folks,

do you know of any site that lists problematic passages in Scripture and deals with them by exegesis from Greek?

I’m not a Greek scholar 🙂 so it doesn’t have to be too much… scholarly  But anything good you can come up with, really.

You might find the B-Greek list helpful (ibiblio.org/bgreek/).

I quote from it:

B-Greek is a mailing list for scholars and students of Biblical Greek. Our main focus is upon understanding the Greek text of the Bible. Discussion topics include scholarly study of the Greek Bible and related Jewish and Christian Greek texts, tools for beginning and advanced students of Biblical Greek such as textbooks, reference works, bibliography and research tools, and linguistic topics such as morphology, lexicography, syntax, and discourse analysis.

I usually use the blue letter bible to find and compare scripture passages between the different translations of the bible.
You type in your passage in the search box, and in the results you will see small blue boxes with letters in them to the left.
The “V” box will show you the different translations, and the “C” box will show you the greek and hebrew. When viewing the Greek or Hebrew you can then click on the english word to the left and see where else in the bible that word is used. This can show you the context the word is used through out the bible. You can also click on the center Strongs number, to see the Strongs reference to that greek word.

I personally copy the Greek word and then go to Studylight.org and search the meaning of the word.

Thank you, everyone

everythings looks useful. That BLB looks quite good. Currently I hope I will soon have Bibleworks 7. That’s a very cool program on this. 🙂
