Good news at Boston College:BOSTON — Sophomore Ethan Mack has watched a few of his fellow Boston College students flaunt disrespect for Catholic teaching and school policy for years. They hang free condoms and other sexual products in envelopes outside of dorm-room doors and approach freshmen to place condoms in their hands.
In March, college administrators told them to knock it off in a letter that threatened disciplinary action if such students don’t stop the on-campus condom giveaways.
The article goes on to mention that “In his email to the Register, Chebator explained that all Boston College students are asked to respect Catholic values.”
Now of course I am all for Catholic Colleges enacting and enforcing policies in line with Catholic teaching, but let me also suggest to any Catholic students to use any club they can find. So, if anyone hands you a condom, contact the Dean of Students, and cite this from Boston College’s “Discriminatory Harassment Policy” document:2. Offensive sexual behavior whenever toleration of such conduct or rejection of it is the basis for a personnel or academic decision affecting an individual; or such conduct has the purpose or effect of creating a hostile or stressful living, learning, or working environment. Examples of behavior that may constitute sexual harassment include sexual advances, any form of retaliation or threat of retaliation against an individual who rejects such advances, sexual epithets, jokes, or comments, comment or inquiry
about an individual’s body or sexual experiences, unwelcome leering, whistling, brushing against the body,
sexual gestures, and displaying sexually suggestive images.

Obviously one can apply that in virtually any college as they all likely have sexual conduct policies.

Wow- should have thought of that when my RA kept posting explicit lists of “why not try this?” relating to “BDSM” on my door during my first semester at a secular college!

Yes. And you wouldn’t even have to prevail in the review. Because of the Political Correct winds that blew through every campus in the '90’s to ensure every girl’s right to stagger drunk at 3 AM through the overflow parking lot and not be molested, they have to take every complaint seriously. Let the process be the punishment.

Hmmm, though they did ignore the “bias related incident” I reported where someone wrote offensive things over a Padre Pio quote I had on my door- didn’t even respond… so maybe not?
However, the whole campus was basically shut down because someone wrote “slut” in a bathroom stall in the library- not even directed at anyone in particular.

sigh well, I’ve transferred now. SO GLAD.
