YAQUBOS:
Peace be with you!

Another “fallacious” question: Was Hitler baptized with reverence? Did he know JESUS persionally and NOT just about Jesus?

N.B.: My questions are not fallacious, but they intend to show the Truth of the Word of God.

Love,
Yaqubos†
No one knows the answer to these questions because none of us can read the hearts of men. If you object to the idea of infant baptism then I would suggest you read the thread on infant baptism in these forums. This may be of some help.

In the case of “Hitler knowing Jesus personally” we cannot surmise the answer. We can, however, know the possiblities. It is possible that Hitler never knew the Lord at all. This does not mean that his baptism was ineffectual. It only means that he may have never accepted the precious gift that had been given to him. It is also possible that Hitler knew the Lord and then later rejected Him. It is also possible that at the last instant of his life that He asked for God’s forgiveness. Although it doesn’t look good for Hitler, we really don’t know his final destination. Only God can know such things.

Judas knew Jesus and was hand picked by the Lord, but he eventually betrayed Jesus and regretted what he did, but he did not fully repent. Peter denied Jesus but, unlike Judas, he fully repented of this grievous sin. This is part of the mystery of grace and free will. God would gladly forgive everyone but not everyone chooses God over self. Choosing to love God is not a one time thing. It is ongoing. We choose to love and live for the Lord daily, and it is by the grace of God that we are able to do so.
