I’m sure I read there was an updated translation of the Vulgate. I read a priest made one in the 1930’s, but I can’t think of his name or what exactly he re-rendered.
Also, what is the Navarre Bible? Is it the RSV with a commentary or an actual Bible of its own? And why can you only get it in books, rather than as a whole Bible? Is it because it comes in commentaries? Sorry for SOOOO many questions, just thought I’d ask all my questions regarding transaltions in one place!
EDIT: I think the Bible I meant was the Knox translation, what’s this like???
