In addition, the donation totals Komen took in during the same time period is down and one pro-life advocate suggests it is because of Komen’s ties to the abortion giant and its refusal to acknowledge that abortion increases the breast cancer risk for women.

Well, yes, I think donations to most charities are down during the recession. However, Ms. Stanek doesn’t offer any reason to believe that factors, other than the economy, are at play.

PP annoys me to no end. They only care about making money, and do not bother to ask a girl or woman why she wants an abortion. They encourage people to be sexually active early, especially before marriage, and say it’s “natural” to have many partners before settling down.

They do not counsel her on the negative effects and the regret she will have later in life. So many people who had abortions years ago are now coming forward with regret.

People who have abortions are more likely to end up on drugs, excessive drinking, etc.

There have been several cases of repeat abortions, where a girl is molested and is ordered to get an abortion. But they do not ask or investigate, so the molestation continues on for several more years.

Some women have abortions and then end up damaging their reproductive system so badly that when they want to have children, they are not able to.

They do not encourage teenagers to place their babies for adoption. Teenagers can be stupid and fall into temptation, but at least they can give their babies to a family who would not otherwise be able to have children.

I am glad there is less money for that business. I hope when the economy comes back people are smart and put money toward things like education and programs to help the sick and the poor, and not give abortions.
